Training Manager – Melissa Hatch
Thankful for the redemptive path that God continues to lovingly pave for her, Melissa has been ever walking, stumbling, and running towards Him since she was young. Over the last several years, she has seen God bring so much darkness to light in her own life and through the community of women at the Eve Center. She is excited to see more of God’s Story shine through the beautiful women of the Eve Center bringing order to a chaotic world.
She is now the Training Manager overseeing the operations that direct the new women joining the Eve Center community as Volunteer Peer Counselors. She has her Master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction and has worked in both Christian education (as an educator and Co-Director of Children’s Ministries) and public school arenas creating interactive tools for educators, mentoring, guiding, teaching, and ever learning together with others for the past fifteen years.
Melissa has lived in Ohio her whole life. She is an avid Buckeyes fan that enjoys both going to the games and cheering for them at home with her family. Jens is her husband of almost 20 years: college sweethearts, chocolate chip cookie experts, and lovers of all kinds of good food. Her beautiful daughters keep her quite busy and on her toes in unexpected and life-giving ways. You can find this family playing games together, taking bike rides, hosting backyard cookouts, and traveling as much as they can.
12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
