Online Studies Manager – Jane Than-Win

studies@evecenter.org

Jane serves as the Online Book Studies Manager at the Eve Center overseeing their Book
Studies that are now being offered via Zoom. She is excited about this new platform of
receiving healing, hope, and community, and its potential to reach more women.

Her journey with the Eve Center began in 2015. She came to the Eve Center as a client, and
participated in many of the Book Studies. God used the Eve Center to help her transform her
life, and it fostered a deep desire to help other women in the same way that she received help
and healing. In 2018 she became a Volunteer Peer Counselor, which led to a volunteer position
as one of the Books Studies Volunteer Coordinators where she provided support to the various
Book Studies they offered. It was then that she knew that this was God’s calling for her. So she
started praying about wanting to be more involved with the Eve Center, and in 2021 she joined
their staff. She is so thankful for this opportunity, and is excited to see what God has planned.

“I have experienced everything that Eve Center has to offer: from one on one peer counseling
to Recovery Groups to Book Studies. All of which brought healing, and a closer relationship to
God. The road was not easy, but I am so thankful to all the women at the Eve Center for
walking alongside me each step of the way. God is really present in this ministry, and is doing
mighty things here! I pray that if you are struggling in this life with past or present
difficulties, that you don’t wait! We are here for you! “We’ve Been There” too!”
When not serving at the Eve Center, you will find Jane hanging out with her family, making
cards, crafting, walking, cooking, enjoying music, or traveling.

The quote below really speaks to how God is working in and through each of us to minister to
others:
“We can encourage and lift each other up because the tie that binds us together is Christ.”
(Kayla Ferris)

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles:
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
“For God did not give us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (sound
judgement).” (2 Timothy 1:7)

“Come to me all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find
rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
(Matthew 11:28-30)
