Word of the Year

“And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10

Steadfast: resolutely or dutifully firm or unwavering.

Words of the year are important because they help direct your actions toward a set goal. Every major decision you make for that year revolves around one single word.

With all that pressure, you better pick a good one!

Here at Eve Center we chose one that aligns with our mission, passion, and purpose: steadfast.

Since this is our 15th year serving the women in our community, our word reflects where we have come from and where we plan to go.

We will stay unwavering in our pursuit to bring women the best services we can provide, all at no cost to them. We will continue to pour into our volunteers to be able to equip them with the tools they need to help any woman who walks through our doors. We will continue to grow in our book studies and S.A.L.T. trainings, allowing people to learn and grow in maybe some uncomfortable but necessary ways.

We can do this because of God’s steadfast love and grace.

It hasn’t been easy these last 15 years. We, just like you, have had our fair share of challenges. But because of our Almighty Father we have been able to not only grow, but thrive.

This year we celebrate, but also stand firm in our mission from day one: promoting hope and healing for women, by women. And that’s not changing anytime soon!
